I realize that Laura’s question wasn’t completely answered. Once a club has paid the setup costs to Lands End, items with the club logo can be ordered. You can call Lands End individually and do it or you can order from the store on our website. We set the store up as a convenience to our members. GBA gets no income from your using the store on our website to link to Lands End. It does keep you from having to have a code which you may need if you call the company as an individual.

Yes, just use the link on the GBA website to purchase from Lands End.

My internet is sick, and I'm typing fast hoping to get this in before I have to reboot again, but I've ordered items from Lands End with the Forsyth Bee Club logo on them. I did not go through the club to do this....was able to complete the purchase totally on my own. Is this still an option with Lands End?

Thank you for your GBA enthusiasm and wanting to wear the GBA logo.

Granting permission for the GBA logo use would be a board decision.  The committee has decided to have the GBA logo with Land’s End and the best vendor we can find for the baseball hats which will be available at our in-person conferences.

We wish you could join us in person, but If you are unable to attend ask your club members or the president to shop for you.

Thank you for your answer. I would like to just permission to put the logo on work shirts and to have several caps to wear daily to promote GBA.

I understand the issue of GBA running an online store. Having to attend a GBA meeting 200 miles away to be able to get a hat with the logo on it is not realistic. We need to be able to promote the organization.

Thank you again for all that you do.

    Dear Everyone,

Last fall I asked a group of eight people, three of which did extensive research prior to our committee meeting to discuss a GBA store and many other options for merchandise with our logo.

We determined that an online store was not a good option for us because of fulfillment, storage, volunteer energy, and the associated financial transactions.

We also discussed a group of other options and decided that the Land's End program was the best for people to purchased items on their own anytime. GBA does not need to profit from these purchases.

We intend to sell baseball caps with the GBA logo at our in person conferences because they sold very well in the past. This is a single item that is easily managed by our volunteers at conference.

We hope you you will buy one when we see each other in person!

Carhartt offers custom logo service on their products to include hats and t-shirts. Can they be given permission by GBA to use the logo?

    Thanks again

David is correct. The hats sold at the meeting did not have a "bee" on them as on the logo. The logo is great and a real attention getter. Only 3 of the shirts shown have pockets on them, that is essential to me!

I did order some shirts and appreciate the work it took to get this service.

The GBA Lands End store does not sell baseball caps.

Why not find a vendor who does?
